Competition on best investment project of Russia


   Section of International Cooperation of Regions of the Senatorial Club of the Council of Federation with support of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and Ministry of regional development of the Russian Federation announces an All-Russian Competition on "Best investment project".

Goals of the competition:

    • Activization of investment activity and increase of investment potential in real sector of economy of the Russian Federation;
    • Stimulation of investment projects quality improvement of the Russian Federation;
    • Help to enterprises with presentation of prepared projects to potential investors;
    • Attraction of extra-budgetary funds to the Russian Federation for development of the country economy;
    • Help to regions with determination of basic perspectives and direction of development;
    • Monitoring of enforcement practice of investment legislation of the Russian Federation;
    • Creation of Federal unified framework of investment projects of Russia (FUFIPR)
    • Presentation of information to potential investors about investment possibilities of regions of Russia on different languages.

      Participation in the Competition:

         In the Competition can participate private persons and enterprises of the Russian Federation regardless of legal form of organization, owner structure and place of realization of the project. Also in the Competition can participate investment projects of foreign participants if the place of project realization is Russia.
      Quantity of participants is not limited. Participation in the Competition is free.

      Requirements to participants of the Competition

      To participate in the Competition you have to present an investment project in any sphere. You have to fill in a project form placed on our portal.

      Criterion selection of winners:

      • Social component of the project (quantity and quality of created jobs, and development of new territories);
      • Technical & Economic Feasibility Study of the project;
      • Economic value of project for the country, region, district or municipal;
      • Percentage ratio of using of Russian raw materials base, manpower resources, technologies, equipment and etc;
      • Preparedness of the presented project regardless of realization stage;
      • Lack or importance provided by the project of goods and services output on the territory of the Russian Federation;
      • Competitiveness of specified goods (services) output in comparison with foreign analogs;
      • Export perspectives of goods and services, which will be produced after realization of the project.

      Competition dates

      The competition will last from 1st April 2009 to 1st April 2010. Intermediate totals will be summarized every month. Final result of the Competition will be summarized till 30 April 2009.

      Winners

        For every month results of the Competition 3 places are awarded. 
         The winner of every month receives diploma for the first place in the Competition of the Section of International Cooperation of Regions of the Senatorial Club, subscribe for our recommendations to 5 core investors and right to place an announcement about the project on the main page of the Section portal (in all languages of the portal) and on the current page of the portal during the month. 
         Owner of the second place gets diploma for the second place in the Competition of the Section of International Cooperation of Regions of the Senatorial Club, subscribe for our recommendations to 3 core investors and right to place an announcement about the project on the “Official Russia” page of our portal (in all languages) and on the current page of the portal during the month.
        Owner of the third place receives diploma for the third place in the Competition of the Section of International Cooperation of Regions of the Senatorial Club, subscribe with our recommendations to 1 core investor and right to place an announcement about the project on the "About the Section" page of our portal (in all languages) during the month. 

         From 15th to 30 of April 2010 the Competition commission will hold a meeting on which nominees on "Best investment project" will be announced. Winners (1-3 places) will receive support of the Section in executive authorities of the Russian Federation and also will be awarded with diplomas of the Senatorial Club.

      Additional opportunities for participants

          Project can be presented on the Competition more than once. For recurrent participation of Your investment project in the next month Competition it is necessary to refresh the project form. In refreshed variant it is desirable to pay fixed attention to criteria of project selection (especially in part of quality of preparedness of the project to realization).

      Special nomination - «Recognition». For assistance in Competition holding

      Any organizations and departments, which are not indifferent to Russian economic prosperity and who will provide advertisement and information assistance may take part in this nomination. Any assistance is welcomed ranging from Competition banners positioning on corporate sites and article publications about the Competition to broadcasting, holding different events within the framework of the Competition (exhibitions, round tables etc.), and also providing money for cash prizes to the winners. The most active organizations and departments will be presented with the Senatorial Club Diplomas. The results are summed at the end of every month. The banners of the winners in the nomination will be positioned on the portal of the Section of International cooperation of regions.
